1. Shut off the water and electricity

2. Call a plumber
Next you will need to call a plumber. Pick a plumber that is available 24/7. Plumbers that are available any time of day or night will be available to fix the problem no matter what time you call. Programming the number of a 24/7 plumber into your phone in advance of emergencies (like a burst pipe) is a great idea so you’ll be prepared when the time comes.
3. Begin removing water
